Audio Of Rahm Emanuel On Solyndra: ‘I Don’t Remember’

Uh um:

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) was asked at a press conference about his involvement in the fast-tracked loan for failed solar panel company Solyndra back when he was President Obama's Chief Of Staff. Mr. Emanuel has no recollection despite the fact that his assistant wrote to the Office of Management and Budget and asked whether “there is anything we can help speed along on OMB side.”

The FBI has raided Solyndra and the homes of its executives. The US House opened up hearings on how half a BILLION dollars was thrown down the toilet. It's Obama's Enron. And Emmanuel isn't being truthful. He's covering his own butt.

THE HILL: Fury over Solyndra loan threatens to sunset solar investments. “Should we be in the business of facilitating something that should be in the purview of the private sector? And if we’re picking winners and losers, then we’re going to make mistakes.” That’s certainly how it’s worked out so far.

HMM: SOLYNDRA SCANDAL ENDS “GREEN JOBS” MYTH. I’m not sure it’ll die that easily, given the combination of will-to-believe and greed. But this certainly has taken the bloom off the green rose.

And provided an occasion for mockery: “Solyndra Green is people!” Greedy ones.
