Study: SpongeBob Causes Attention Problems in Kids

Well, my kids appear to be totally and irreversibly screwed:
The cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants is in hot water from a study suggesting that watching just nine minutes of that program can cause short-term attention and learning problems in 4-year-olds.
Might explain why I have OCD/ADD too. Hours of SB per day. On the plus side, SpongeBob may be a lifesaver too: New source for stem cells - Spongebob Squarepants. And: Video: Spongebob Squarepants inspires girl to perform Heimlich, saves the life of schoolgirl. So there!

UPDATE: It look like the study was conducted by Patrick Star and is of little or no value. Via The Detroit Free Press:
The study has several limitations. For one thing, the kids weren't tested before they watched TV. But Lillard said none of the children had diagnosed attention problems and all got similar scores on parent evaluations of their behavior.
I've got this great diet that will help you lose 10 pounds overnight. But you can't weigh yourselves before you go on the diet.
