Dem Analyst: Recession happened 2 1/2 years ago because of debt ceiling fight last month or something

The recession ended, according to economists, June 2009. It started in 2008, before the tea party was even created. How that recession can be pinned on the tea party is beyond me, but this guy (who is trying to set a record for how many times he can say "extreme" in relation to conservatives) gave it a shot nonetheless:
