Idiot Sarah Palin Claims Lincoln "Founder" of Republican Party. Fact: Lincoln Joined GOP Years After Founding!

Well this proves it. Sarah Palin is historically illiterate. Which for a Presidential candidate renders unto them idiot status. She claimed with a straight face that Lincoln founded the Republican Party. The fact is the GOP was founded in 1854 (right here in Jackson, MI) and not by Lincoln. Lincoln joined the party years later and was elected President in 1860.

So if you believe this proves Sarah Palin an idiot, take note that Sarah Palin didn't make that claim. One Barack Hussein Obama did! Obama FAIL: Lincoln Founder of Republican Party

I guarantee you that had Palin said the exact same thing she would have been skewered by liberal historians and the establishment MSM. As such, not a boo or peep from either group. Figures...

In his Sept. 8 "jobs speech" (that was just a campaign speech) Obama called Abe Lincoln the "founder of the Republican Party." Unfortunately for The Obammessiah, Abe Lincoln was not even a member of the Republican Party when it was founded. Lincoln was a Whig Party member and became a Republican a little later. Now, will the media attack Obama for being so stupid not to know history like they attack Republicans? Don't hold your breath.
