Jay Carney: Obama's New Jobs Plan Would Put Unemployment Below 9%

In February 2009, Obama promised us all that if we spent $1.2 trillion on his stimulus boondoggle (including interest since every single penny was borrowed) that unemployment would not get above 8% and 3.5 million new jobs would be created. More than 2 1/2 years later, unemployment is still above 9%, 3 million jobs have been lost, and we have a massive debt to boot. So we've seen this story before:
