I partially agree with Gore. I believe that greater than the financial incentive that Gore absurdly dismisses out of hand, the greater motivation is the formation of a one-world government under the pretense of saving the planet. That government is the ring of power to liberals and they simply cannot resist it despite the actual science saying the opposite of what they claim. Most of these scientists, after all, are committed liberals. That being said, you simply cannot just dismiss the profit motive here. The climate community was a small one and it would have continued to be small and funded at a low level if it weren't for the false notion that the planet will be destroyed by a naturally occurring compound that we exhale with every breath. Instead, literally billions of dollars are being pumped in to prop up the hoax. It is a politically driven movement, not a scientific one. Even some in the community are admitting, albeit tacitly, that the movement is a fraud. Via memeorandum:CERN: ‘Climate models will need to be substantially revised’. Uh um. Exit question: does anyone believe anything Al Gore says anymore?
"This is an organized effort to attack the reputation of the scientific community as a whole, to attack their integrity, and to slander them with the lie that they are making up the science in order to make money. Look, first of all, these scientists don’t make a lot of money. They’re comfortable, and as they should be, but they don’t make a lot of money. That’s not their motivation for doing what they do." - Al Gore
