I've posted many such graphic the last couple of years, but it bears repeating:

To be fair, the Democrat-controlled Congress of 2007 didn't cause the mortgage meltdown. Democrat policies going back to the 1970s (the community reinvestment act of Jimmy Carter that was put on steroids by Bill Clinton in the 90's) did, and many of those Democrats (I'm talking to you Barney Frank) are still there destroying what has made America great.
