Well check out this new tone where Hoffa claims at a Detroit Obama campaign rally, taxpayer funded mind you, that union members are Obama's army" in a "war":

It's ironic that liberals have no stomach for real war against homicidal maniacs overseas, but delight in fighting a "war" against their real perceived enemy - conservatives that simply demand the federal government stick to its constitutional mandate.
